Press release
On 2 June 2008, Infomuzyka.pl music web service launches its original music project - "Prawie unplugged" (Almost unplugged). The portal invites well-known artists to perform their songs in atypical conditions and locations. Recordings of those gigs will appear every fortnight on Infomuzyka.pl.
As part of
Infomuzyka.pl's original project, the invited artists will give their "unplugged" or "almost unplugged" gigs in unusual locations, depending on the conditions prepared by the editorial team.
'We are not afraid of unusual locations. Our artists will play their songs not only in clubs, but also in garages, on bazaars and in the streets. We have invited singers of different musical background to participate in the project, including members of the pop, rock, reggae and alternative scene,' says Katarzyna Rogalska, service editor responsible for "Prawie unplugged" project.
First to throw a gig for Infomuzyka.pl were Anita Lipnicka and John Porter, whose last album called "Goodbye" was released in February. The duet performed in Warsaw's "Obiekt odnaleziony" club.
Next episodes of "Prawie unplugged" will feature the likes of Tomek Lipinski, Gabriela Kulka, Lipali, Darek Malejonek, Maciej Malenczuk with Kapela Czerniakowska and Martyna Jakubowicz.
'The first episodes of the "Prawie unplugged" cycle are scheduled for airing once every fortnight. However, we are planning more frequent releases in the future,' says Katarzyna Rogalska.
