On Wednesday, April 29th, 2015 a new Helios cinema will be opened in Galeria Sudecka in Jelenia Góra. The cinema has 5 modern and comfortable halls with nearly 900 seats in total. Helios is currently the largest cinema chain in Poland as far as the number of cinemas is concerned- it has 35 cinemas with 185 screens and over 39 thousand seats.

Helios cinema in Jelenia Gora has modern DepthQ technology and silver screens, which use the world's fastest polarization switches for digital cinemas. It makes it possible to achieve high-precision 3D display, meeting the expectations of even the most demanding moviegoers. The audience will also enjoy light, custom-made 3D glasses in two sizes, available even for the youngest viewers, as well as a visit to Helios Cafe.

During the first days, audience of Helios cinema in Jelenia Gora will see the latest Polish and foreign premieres. The repertoire will include movies for the youngest viewers: 'UPS! Noah is Gone.' and 'Ribbit', premiere hits in 3D: 'The Avengers. Age of Ultron' and 'Mad Max: Fury Road' and movies 'Child 44', 'The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel' or 'Tomorrowland'.

Apart from the regular programme, audience of the Helios cinema in Jelenia Góra will take part in special screenings: "Kino Kobiet" ("Women's Cinema"), "Nocne Maratony Filmowe" ("Night Film Marathons"), "Kino Na Temat" ("Theme Films") and "Helios dla dzieci" ("Helios for Kids") - unique movie mornings with Scooby-Doo. Additionally, as part of the "Kultura Dostępna" project ("Available Culture") every Thursday tickets for Polish movies will cost only 10 zloty. Helios is the first cinema chain in Poland to join this project.

Helios prepared for its audience special discount actions such as "Tanie Wtorki" ("Cheap Tuesdays"), during which tickets for all Tuesdays screenings will be available in very attractive prices, or discounts within the "Karta Dużej Rodziny" programme ("Big Family Card").

For those visiting Helios cinema in Jelenia Góra during two first weekends of May, Helios has prepared a range of attractions, including a contest with prizes such as a yearly free cinema entrance and many more. In addition, Sunday, May 10th, will be a "Cinema Day". Among many attractions prepared exclusively for this occasion, the program will include stunt shows, performances of movie stars' doubles, as well as numerous competitions under the auspices of Helios.
