Launch of Rock Radio on the 31st of January

A new station, Rock Radio will start broadcasting tomorrow, on the 31st of January 2014. On this occassion, the station prepared a special edition of "Ranne kakao" programme as well as live concert of Tymon & The Transistors. The new morning show of Kuba Wojewódzki and Mikołaj Lizut "Książę i żebrak" ("The Prince and the Pauper") will start broadcasting on the 5th of February, at 12:00 pm.

By the approval of Krajowa Rada Radiofonii i Telewizji (National Broadcasting Council) Roxy Radio has changed its name to Rock Radio, and under this name as of 31st of January it will broadcast in the ether and online.

Especially for this occasion, the station has prepared special programmes and events for its listeners. On Friday, Tymon Tymański and Piotr Kędzierski's programme "Ranne kakao" will host Mikołaj Lizut who is the chief editor in rock Radio, and Kuba Wojewódzki, presenter and showman who will join the Rock Radio team on February. Afterwards, Tymon Tymański and his band The Transistors will play a live concert for the listeners which will be broadcasted from the Radio's studio in Warsaw.

On Wednesday, 5th of February a new programme of Kuba Wojewódzki will be launched whose co-host will be Mikołaj Lizut and Michał Migała.

"Książę i żebrak" will be aired from Monday till Thursday from 12:00 pm till 2 pm. It is going to be a satiric radio show about Polish social, political and cultural life.

Rock Radio launches on 31st of January with a new visual and sound image. Jingles have been prepared by Grupa Radiowa Agory (Agora's Radio Group). The new logo has been designed by Brandy Design.

The radio's website and Facebook fanpage will also undergo changes, and a new Rock Radio You Tube channel will be created.

Launch of Rock Radio and appearance of new programmes and Kuba Wojewódzki's programme in the season schedule will be promoted on air as well as on the radio's webiste.
