Large format advertising in Gazeta.pl offer

Large format advertising in Gazeta.pl offer
Press release

From September, the Gazeta.pl Group will expand its customer offer to include new, large format adverts. Larger surface, exclusive adverts positioning and new possibilities of message creation will allow advertisers to effectively reach the customers.

Large formats are a new chance for Internet advertising and advertisers themselves - they attract users with a clear message and their visual attractiveness is combined with high quality content they accompany.

TAG Heuer, the manufacturer of exclusive watches, will be the first company in Poland to take advantage of the Gazeta.pl Group's new offer. The large format campaign will be launched already on 19 August and will be available on the "Gazeta Wyborcza" website: Wyborcza.pl .

"We are glad that our customers will be able to use this attractive advertising form, creating a new standard on the Polish market, dominated by aggressive advertising forms," says Przemyslaw Bartkowiak, Sales Director in Agora's Internet Segment. "We offer advertising which draws the user with its straightforward message, while its visual attractiveness is combined with high-quality content it accompanies. We offer advertising that is the page's valuable component not provoking the user to close it automatically without noticing whose advertisement it is."

From September, the following forms will be included in the Gazeta.pl Group's offer:

- Wideboard (940 x 300),

- Triboard (750 x 300),

- Halfpage (300 x 600),

- Gigabanner (300 x 800),

- Full screen rectangle banner (300 x 250).

All forms are expandable, with wideboard and triboard available also in the "push down" option. New formats visualisations are presented below this release on the Gazeta.pl Group press web page .

"This is utterly different from standard banner campaigns. With top-quality products, marketers strive to get the image message across and not only to aggressively force the user to click on a banner - very often by accident. The new communication tool stands for the opportunity to reach the appropriate customer with the right message and in the right place," says Cyprian Kostewicz, Sales and Marketing Director at WPC - the sole representative of the TAG Heuer brand in Poland.

Large formats have had a very successful debut worldwide - in June 2009, they were introduced by the largest websites belonging to the OPA (Online Publishers Association), whose total reach in the USA amounts to 68 percent. These include: nyt.com , CNN.com and MSNBC.com . The first advertisers in the world who have opted for the large format internet campaign in the USA include the Bank of America, Frito-Lay and Mercedes-Benz, just to mention a few*.
