On November 7th, and November 9th two consecutives cinemas of the Helios network shall be opened in Szczecin and in Rzeszów. Thanks to opening of the new multiplexes this year Helios became the econd largest cinema network in Poland.
Helios cinema in Putlet Park in Szczecin prepared seats for over 1 400 visitors in 7 screening rooms equipped with the most modern sound system and projection equipment to screen movies in 3D technology. Multiplex is located in one of the outlet city centres in zachodniopomorskie region. Visitors will be able to watch movies for the first time in this cinema on Wednesday November 7th, 2012.
Soon after, on Friday, November 9th, 2012, Helios will open its cinema in Rzeszow. In cinema, located in Galeria Rzeszow, Helios has 6 screening rooms for 1 200 visitors. The projection rooms are equipped with the most modern sound system and projection equipment enabling screening movies in 3D technology and modern pearl screens.
In both cities - Szczecin and Rzeszow - Helios will be the largest cinema operator.
In 2012, Helios has already opened 3 cinemas: in Grudziadz, Tczew and Kedzierzyn-Kozle. The company still plans to open, till the end of 2012, a multiplex in Belchatow and Bydgoszcz and 5 consecutive cinemas in 2013 in Gdynia, Kalisz, Nowy Sacz, Białystok and Siedlce. Lately, Helios signed contracts to open second multi-screen cinema in Wroclaw and its first cinema in Jelenia Gora.
In the beginning of November, Helios closed its traditional cinema in Kalisz. The company will open a modern multi-screen cinema in this city in 2013.
