In the beginning of the September of 2012 Helios S.A. called into being a company Next Film which main field of operation will be film distribution. First films to be introduced to the cinemas by Next Film include "Drogowka" by Wojciech Smarzowski and "AmbaSSada" by Juliusz Machulski. Agora S.A. is a co-producer of both films.

Next Film shall focus on distribution and promotion of Polish films.

By means of a new company Helios initiates new type of activity - we are glad as it is a chance for us to widen our competences and for even faster development. And an exciting adventure - said Tomasz Jagiello, the President of the Management Board of Helios S.A.

The President of the Management Board of the new company is Piotr Grajkowski who for many years was an employee of ITI Group and TVN. He was, inter alia, the head and co-organizer of the first independent and wholly private distribution company ITI Cinema. He also worked in ITI Film Studio and TVN. Lately, he was responsible for publications and merchandising in TVN Media.

The deputy President of the new company is Robert Kijak, the Director of Special Projects division in Agora which acts, inter alia, in the field of cinema films co-production. To date, Agora was, inter alia, a co-producer of such cinema hits as film by Marek Koterski "Baby sa jakies inne", for which, according to Boxoffice data, 820.000 cinema tickets were sold and film" Swiadectwo" (Testimony) by Paweł Pitera for which 1.040.000 tickets were sold.
