Gazeta.pl celebrates diversity

Gazeta.pl celebrates diversity

Gazeta.pl joins the Pride Month celebrations. The portal is preparing special content and materials on equality and diversity on Saturday, June 20 2020. The publications will include interviews with Commissioner for Human Rights, Adam Bodnar, as well as with Jakub and Dawid, who have been married for several years and actively support human rights.

- Gazeta.pl will strongly and loudly celebrate equality and diversity. We will promote values close to us even more than every day. We create a portal for everyone and we want every person to feel important, needed and welcome in society. Our articles will be mainly about how to educate society in the area of diversity, how to be an ally of non-heteronormative people, how to show them support not only in social media, but also in the realities of everyday life – said Marzena Szkolak, development director of Gazeta.pl brand.

Wiktoria Beczek, a journalist from Gazeta.pl’s editorial office, who has been working for the equal rights of LGBT + people for many years, including in Love does not exclude Assosiation, will prepare a guide on how to get involved and support non-heteronormative people. Łukasz Kijek will interview Commissioner for Human Rights Adam Bodnar, and Eliza Dolecka will talk with Jakub and Dawid, who, among others popularize rainbow face masks. Team of Gazeta.pl will also give the floor to LGBT + people, and will publish an educational glossary of terms related to this topic.

This is another example of the editorial implementation of the "Gazeta.pl Declaration for New Times". One of its elements is the promise of being a medium for everyone, publicizing cases of discrimination, abuse and violation of human rights, as well as engaging in socially important matters.

Gazeta.pl is one of the largest Polish internet portals, and its services are among the leading in their thematic categories. They present users with various content, including articles and original video materials - also available through applications for mobile devices.
