The “Jutronauci” project of “Gazeta Wyborcza” received the first prize, and the Myk! video format of Gazeta.pl second prize in its categories in the prestigious INMA Global Media Awards 2018, while Gazeta.pl’s “Make Poland Great Again” received a honourable mention. The results of the competition were announced on 4 June in Washington during the 88th Annual INMA World Congress. Agora's projects were the only ones from Poland to be among the finalists of this year's edition of the competition - a total of 195 projects from all over the world competed for awards in 20 categories.
“Jutronauci” is an innovative project of “Gazeta Wyborcza”, which won in the category of Best Public Relations or Community Service Campaign. During the four months of the project, the editorial team presented 26 silhouettes of “the people of tomorrow” with open-minded, modern and smart attitudes. As part of the project, 5 live meetings were organized, in which 1,000 people participated and accounts reached 468,000 internet users; special “Bilet za horyzont” [English: Ticket beyond the horizon] scholarships were also awarded to people and undertakings in 7 categories, selected by the mentors and members of the jury.

Myk! social video format, created by Gazeta.pl, received second prize in the category of Best Launch of a Brand or Product to Create An Audience Segment. Myk! is an online video that is part of the trend of online video advice. Each episode within less than a minute presents clever ideas for interesting use of everyday objects, reworking old things and creating new, practical solutions.

“Make Poland Great Again” is an internet night show presenting a satirical view on politics and current events, co-created by the Make Life Harder duo. The format was awarded in the Best Use of Video category. The first series of “Make Poland Great Again” was broadcast from September to December 2017 and had 16 episodes in total, which generated 6.5 million views on Gazeta.pl, 750 thousand views on YouTube and 1.4 million views on Facebook.

The INMA Global Media Awards 2018 featured 830 entries from 220 media companies from 39 countries around the world. Participants included press media, magazines, digital media, television and radio. “Gazeta Wyborcza” and Gazeta.pl competed with the projects of the American “The Wall Street Journal” or the Swedish “Aftonbladet”.
Agora's teams had already received the INMA Awards in the past.
In 2017, the second place in the category Best Idea to Encourage Print Readership or Engagement was taken by “Gazeta Pisarzy” [English: Writers' Newspaper], a special edition of “Gazeta Wyborcza”. In 2016, the jury of the competition recognized the daily for the project “Objazdowe Muzeum Historii Polski” [English: The Museum of Polish History on the Move] (in the same category) and the social campaign “Pracownia miast” [English: City Workshop] (Best PR or Community Service Campaign). In 2015, the “Polish Your English” campaign of “Gazeta Wyborcza” (first prize in the category Best Use of an Event to Build a News Brand) and the content marketing project “Otwórz miasto” [English: Open the city], implemented by “Gazeta Co Jest Grane” and the portal Gazeta.pl (third place in the category Best Marketing Solution for an Advertising Client) won the awards. In 2014, “Gazeta Wyborcza” with its project “Trasy magiczne” [English: Magic Routes] was ranked second in the category Best Idea to Grow Digital Readership or Engagement. Previously, Agora's projects were included in the INMA Awards list of winners between 2007 and 2012.
INMA Global Media Awards are among the most prestigious awards for publishers in the world. The competition, organized by the International News Media Association INMA, awards the best marketing solutions in the press.
