AMS is expanding its offer in Gdańsk and will plant trees

Panels from the premium segment and advertising spaces on bus/tram shelters will expand the AMS's sales offer in Gdansk. This is the result of the tenders won by the company conducted by the Gdańsk Road and Greenery Authority after the introduction of the landscape resolution. One of the elements of cooperation will consist in planting trees.

Free-standing advertising panels from the premium segment, offered by AMS, will return to the streets of Gdańsk.  In the tender procedure for placing advertising panels in road lanes, the company won 7 out of 14 packages offered by the city. The possibility of placing panels in road lanes is the next step in organising public space in accordance with the Gdańsk Landscape Resolution.  Where it is allowed, carriers with a form and dimensions compliant with the resolution will be able to be implemented.  The companies that won the tender, apart from paying for the possibility of placing the carriers, were obliged to plant trees in median strips, and to look after them. 170 trees will be planted in total thanks to this concept.

On the other hand, in the competition procedure for the operation and use of bus/tram shelters with the possibility of installing advertising displays of the citylight type, AMS won a package of 153 bus/tram shelters at the central points of Gdansk. Thus, the company expanded its current offer of advertisement on Premium Citylight and Citylight panels by 25%.

Our offer is growing and this is good news both for us and for our clients who care about advertising in the best locations in Gdańsk,” says Grażyna Gołębiowska, marketing director at AMS. ”The Landscape Resolution introduced in this city in 2018 significantly reduced the possibilities of advertising in public space. We are glad that the won tenders will ensure continuity of advertising activities for our clients.”

Billboards in exchange for trees in median strips are an interesting idea of the city, which fits perfectly into AMS's pro-environmental activities. The company's EKO offer includes: the EKO shelter system with sedum-covered roofs in five cities, EKO poles – the largest network of poles powered by solar energy in Poland, EKO Backlight – a set of eco-friendly solutions and EKO

Busback – urban advertising in motion on zero- and low-emission public transport vehicles. AMS also conducts educational campaigns as part of the AMS EKO Initiative project.

Besides advertising on citylight carriers in bus stop shelters in Gdańsk and soon on premium segment carriers, AMS offers customers to reach recipients through many other points of contact with advertising: Digital Indoor carriers in shopping malls, Planet Cash ATM network and Move TV channel in fitness clubs from the premium segment, as well as public and suburban transport vehicles.
