Agora, for the third time, was awarded for commitment to social responsibility and activities in the field of sustainable development and was included in the prestigious ranking of the weekly “Polityka”, prepared in cooperation with the consulting company Deloitte and the Responsible Business Forum. . The company was awarded the CSR Silver Leaf for incorporating all key elements of social responsibility ISO 26000 social responsibility standard into its day-to-day operations and award for climate actions. On Tuesday, June, 9th 2020, the winners of the 9th edition of the ranking were announced in the weekly.
- This year, Agora has not only been among the top responsible companies in Poland, but has also been rewarded for supporting the 13th Sustainable Development Goal related to climate action. We are pleased that in this way ourforward-looking actions for the protection of the environment and climate, especially regarding energy saving, waste segregation and changing everyday habits for pro-environmental were appreciated in this way. For the 9th time, the weekly ‘Polityka ‘ together with Deloitte and the Responsible Business Forum has invited companies operating in Poland to review solutions supporting sustainable development and social involvement. This year's list of CSR Leaves includes 68 companies whose activities focus on better employee management, improvement of customer and business partner relations, and protection of environment. 14 companies received Gold CSR Leaves, 16 - Silver, and 38 - White. CSR Leaves by ‘Polityka’ weekly were accompanied by a review of good practices that supported the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) associated with the 13th Goal: ‘take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts’. Over 80 activities from various areas have been reported in this list, only 16 of them have been awarded and 13 have been emphasised so that they can inspire other organizations, how to effectively act and cooperate in implementing the 2030 Agenda.
Agora received the Silver CSR Leaf as a company that in its daily operations declares to include all key solutions of the ISO 26000 standard, applying the best management practices and international regulation and guidance. Important issue for company are also the ethics management system and the highest standards of personnel management. The company regularly informs stakeholders about the effects of its activities, including in the non-financial report (RaportCSR.agora.pl), prepared on the basis of international data disclosure standards GRI Standards. In 2019, the company was awarded the Silver, and a year earlier by the White CSR Leaf of ‘Polityka’ weekly.

Its approach to this issue is based on values such as transparency, building relationships with partners and the company’s environment, diversity among employees and high quality of products and services. Agora and companies from its capital group initiate and engage in a number of educational, social and cultural projects, also involving sustainable development. In 2020, Agora for the third time was awarded Silver CSR Leaf granted by weekly ‘Polityka’ for responsible business.
