    Agora acquires more shares in ROI Hunter

    In June 2019, in accordance with the investment agreement concluded in September 2018, in the second round of financing Agora acquired more shares in the Czech company ROI Hunter, a marketing platform that helps e-commerce businesses promote and sell products via Google and Facebook. Agora is a minority shareholder of ROI Hunter with almost 24% stake in its share capital.

    ROI Hunter offers its clients a unique opportunity to place effective advertising directly on Facebook, Instagram and Google Search. Currently, ROI Hunter works with 250+ e-commerce companies, including major brands such as Allegro, Souq and Sports Direct.

    ‘With the investment in ROI Hunter Agora Group gradually increases its presence in B2B Internet services sector. ROI Hunter achieved the financial results for the year 2018 in accordance with the investment agreement, which is why we decided to buy the second tranche of shares. We are happy that we will be making an ever greater contribution to the development of this interesting and innovative company, especially with its big challenges ahead related to expansion into new markets’, says Agnieszka Sadowska, a Board Member of Agora S.A.

    Thanks to the financing obtained from Agora, ROI Hunter strengthens its position on international markets – the company has recently opened an office in London. It is also dynamically developing the ROI Hunter Easy project, which is a free solution for e-commerce platforms, in cooperation with technology providers: BigCommerce, Ecwid and PrestaShop.
    ROI Hunter is also constantly expanding its offer – recently the company has launched a new Creative Factory product. This tool allows marketers to, i.a. easily create video ads for Facebook and Instagram in order to maximize the advertising possibilities of these channels.

    Agora is a minority shareholder in ROI Hunter since September 2018 – in two financing rounds, it obtained in total almost 24% of the company's shares. Agora supports the management team of ROI Hunter in execution of the company’s strategic vision and the development of its operations.

    The investment in ROI Hunter is a part of the strategic plan of the Agora Group, which indicates B2B Internet services as one of the development directions. Agora is also a shareholder of Yieldbird – one of the fastest growing global companies specializing in ad management and optimizing revenue from programmatic advertising, as well as a shareholder of Online Technologies HR – provider of innovative IT solutions dedicated to online recruitment.
