    First Polish interactive reportage - today on Interaktywna.Wyborcza.pl

    Today, a reportage entitled "Boskie Swiatlo" dedicated to search expedition to Broad Peak by Jacek Hugo-Bader was published on the website Interkatywna.Wyborcza.pl. This is the first interactive reportage published in Poland - article enriched with photographies and video materials composing the full reportage.

    The reportage by Jacek Hugo - Bader published on Interkatywna.Wyborcza.pl gradually unwinds its content offering photos and automatically activated video materials. The reportage will be also available on smartphones.

    "Boskie swiatlo" - a unique material in Polish Internet - an interactive reportage which we prepared as the first Polish editorial team. We combined the text by Jacek Hugo-Bader with photographies and video materials creating new digital form of journalism referring to innovative reportages prepared earlier by the teams of "New York Times" and "Guardian" - says Katarzyna Jaklewicz - Digital Development Director in "Gazeta Wyborcza". Text intertwined with photographies and video materials creates extraordinary atmosphere and offers readers a new experience. I believe that such materials, combining superb journalism with modern technology, are our digital future.

    The reportage by Jacek Hugo-Bader describes the history of search expedition to Broad Peak to find the bodies of tragically diseased participants of winter expedition to the peak several months ago - Maciej Berbeka and Tomasz Kowalski. The expedition was organized by Jacek Berbeka, brother of the diseased Himalayan mountaineer. The participants included also Jacek Hugo-Bader and Jacek Jawien and Krzysztof Tarasewicz and for the first few days Alicja and Marek Kowalski - the parents of Tomasz Kowalski and his fiancé Agnieszka Korpal. All of them are featured in the reportage.

    The readers of "Duzy Format", Thursday magazine in "Gazeta Wyborcza" will be able to watch multimedia materials on smartphones thanks to Viuu application. It's enough to scan the Viuu icon in the daily and watch the material.
