Agora's projects awarded in Media Trendy 2011 competition

In this year edition of innovation in media competition - Media Trendy 2011 Agora projects won one prize and received two distinctions.

The jury of the competition granted the main award in the category "Best use of content" to the project Timotei gallery of womanhood; prepared jointly by Agora and Media Direction Digital.

The project included a series of articles entitled "6 women, 6 countries" published in "Wysokie Obcasy" (High Heels) - Saturday supplement to "Gazeta Wyborcza" and website. kobieta.gazeta.pl/atlaskobiecosci. The brand Timotei was partner of the project.

The distinctions were granted to the project Razem dla Tatr (Together for Tatra Mountains) in the category cross media platform for content creation and distribution and social action by "Gazeta Wyborcza" Dorosłe Dzieci (Adult Children) in non-profit category.

Razem dla Tatr (Together for Tatra Mountains) is a multimedia project executed by "Gazeta Wyborcza", "Metro", mTarget and AMS together with Milka brand. Agora's dailies published series of articles dedicated to, inter alia, symbols of Tatra Mountains and organized online poll for three most important symbols of Tatra Mountains. "Gazeta Wyborcza" Prepared for its readers a map series "Polish mountains", mTarget prepared a special publication "Together for Tatra Mountains" distributed in the largest Polish cities and in Zakopane during the "Zakopane Days", AMS provided marketing campaign of the project.

Social action, by "Gazeta Wyborcza" Dorosłe Dzieci (Adult Children) was dedicated to the problems of adults whose parents had been alcoholics and ACOA syndrome, that is a set of traits acquired by a child in the process of adopting to the family dysfunction. "Gazeta Wyborcza" published articles and interviews as well as letters from its readers on the topic. On the website of the action one can find texts and information form the ACOA forum.

The jury of Media Trendy 2010 competition granted also 3 nominations for Agora's projects - in the category Auto promotion and Media promotion - the project by Katowice editorial office "Daj się zepsuć" (Let us spoil you) and in the non-profit category - new edition of the action "Polska biega" (Poland runs) organized by "Gazeta Wyborcza" "Wysokie Obcasy Extra" (High heels extra) were nominated in the category the debut of the year.

The Media Trendy competition is one of the most important in the advertising and media worlds. It promotes those advertising activities which by its innovation and originality increase the media attractiveness for advertisers and recipients. It includes the Innovation competition and Media Planning.

The Media Trendy Competition is organized by the Association of Marketing Communication SAR.
