    "Continents" - the first magazine in English prepared by Agora exclusively for iPad!

    Personal accounts of reporters, photographers and travellers, stories of journeys and great discoveries, travel blogs, interviews as well as excerpts of the most interesting books on travel and reportage - these are the things that can be found in a quarterly magazine "Continents". The first English issue of the magazine is already available in AppStore for iPad users.

    The magazine offers the selection of articles from the previously issues of the quarterly "Kontynenty". In this issue the reader will find inter alia: photographs by Ryszard Kapuscinski and Aleksandra Krzyzaniak-Gumowska, articles by Andrzej Stasiuk, Jacek Hugo-Bader, Raja Alem, Pawel Smolenski, Wojciech Jagielski, Witold Szabłowski, Max Cegielski and Paulina Wilk as well as an interview with Colin Thubron. The cover of the magazine features a unique photography by Tomasz Gudzowaty; the issue presents also his other photographs.

    The magazine fully exploits functionalities offered by iPad. It has an active table of contents, photo galleries, slide shows, as well as an option to enlarge photographies.

    Two years ago when I started to create a travel magazine, I knew one thing: getting to know the world may be accompanied either by the avidity to observe or the obsession to explore. I chose the latter. And I invited the best possible guides to participate in the joint quest: Poland's most internationally renowned, highly acclaimed foreign correspondents, top writers and prize-winning photojournalists - travellers, vagabonds and pilgrims. I wanted to explore the world through their eyes, listen to their stories, grasp concepts they already understood. And so began my life's finest adventure - an expedition entitled "Kontynenty". So far we have created seven issues of this quarterly, featuring dozens of superb articles from one of the world's important literary trends, a genre that enjoys a revival in Poland - travel writing. We have also published hundreds of first-rate photographs. And the entire enterprise is guided by benevolent spirit of Ryszard Kapuscinski, the master of Polish reportage school. He showed everyone that travelling can be an art - said Dariusz Fedor, Editor - in - Chief of the magazines "Continents" and "Kontynenty". - I encourage everyone, who wants to master the art of travelling, who is curious of the world and its inhabitants and who is ready to enter an endless track towards discovery, to read "Continents". This will be a fabulous adventure!
