    "Gazeta Wyborcza" with new mobile application for Windows Phone

    Since 3rd of March readers of "Gazeta Wyborcza" can access the newspaper via new mobile application for Windows Phone smartphones, for example the popular Nokia Lumia. The application enables comfortable reading of "Wyborcza's" paper edition as well as news from Wyborcza.pl.

    'More and more people in Poland have smartphones with Windows Phone operating system - it is the second OS in Poland*. That is why "Gazeta Wybrcza" decided to create a special application for the users of Windows Phone OS. We are sure that this will allow us to reach new readers who need a fast and comfortable access to materials prepared by "Wyborcza's" team. The new application is yet another position in the daily's portfolio (together with applications for iOS, Android and windows 8.1. smartphones', says Katarzyna Jaklewicz, Director of Digital Development in "Gazeta Wyborcza".

    Readers with Windows Phone OS can now read "Gazeta Wyborcza". By choosing the 'Paper edition' mode they can reach texts from the current issue as well as the local issue, the weeklies ("Ale Historia", "Duży Format", "Magazyn Świąteczny", "Wysokie Obcasy", "Tylko Zdrowie") and other additional issues ("Gazeta Praca", "Gazeta Dom". "Gazeta Co Jest Grane", "Gazeta Tekewizyjna", "Na Pamięć").

    Having chosen the 'Wyborcza.pl" mode, the readers can access texts from "Wyborcza's" online service in a new, fresh layout.

    All articles available via the application are interactive, i.e. containing photos.

    "Wyborcza's" Windows Phone application allows the use of texts offline, saving them to the clipboard and sharing with friends via e-mail or social media channels.

    Downloading the application from Windows Phone Store is free. Users can also read several texts form "Wyborcza" daily for free. However, to take full advantage of its functionality, a "Wyborcza's" Premium Package of digital subscription must be purchased.

    Users of windows Phone smartphones can now test the application free of charge on the occassion of its premiere. From 5th till 7th of March all text available in the application can be read without any limits.

    "Gazeta Wyborcza's" application for Windows Phone smartphones has been created by Agora team.

    "Wyborcza's" digital content is available in the form of online issues and at Wyborcza.pl as well as on mobile phones and other mobile devices: smartphones and tablets with iOS, Android and Windows 8.1. e-readers like Kindle.
