Two INMA 2011 awards for "Gazeta Wyborcza" projects

The cuisine magazine "Palce Lizac" (Yum Yum) and the action "Polska biega" (Poland Runs) - were awarded in this year edition of international competition INMA Awards organized by International Newsmedia Marketing Association. "Gazeta Wyborcza" was the only awarded newspaper from Poland and was among winners, including "New York Times", "Times of India" or "Sydney Morning Herald". "Palce Lizac" (Yum Yum), Monday supplement to "Gazeta Wyborcza" full of recipes and culinary inspirations was awarded in the category Print Single Copy Sales - it was placed second among newspapers with circulation over 300 thousand copies. Action "Polska Biega" (Poland Runs) was placed second in the category Public relations & Community Service.

The magazine "Palce Lizac" (Yum Yum) is a supplement to Monday issue of "Gazeta Wyborcza" since December 2010. The supplement contains the most interesting and popular recipes from the Polish and World cuisine, original recipes by chefs, articles on culinary journeys and ideas for quick and cheap dishes and for different types of kitchen arrangements.

Since Tuesday (May 17th) Agora publishes also magazine "Palce Lizac Extra" (Yum Yum Extra) - special edition of the Monday supplement to "Gazeta Wyborcza". The publication offers to readers, inter alia, over 80 recipes for parties, picnics, barbecue and articles on culinary subject - matter. www.palcelizac.gazeta.pl

"Gazeta Wyborcza" organizes action Polska Biega (Poland Runs) since 2006 encouraging all Poles to jogging as it is the simplest form of physical activity; it does not require expensive equipment or constant competition. The peak of the action Polska Biega (Poland Runs) - weekend in May is based on the idea to encourage local authorities, schools, sports clubs, prisons, orphanages companies and amateur jogging clubs to organize jogging for everyone. In the last, seventh weekend of the action - that took place on May 13-15, Poles took place in 616 foot races. Thanks to the actions of "Gazeta Wyborcza", webiste polskabiega.pl and many fans of jogging this from of activity becomes a fashion in Poland. There are more and more joggers on the streets and paths and more participants during jogging competitions.

The results of INMA Awards 2011 were announced during the night on May 17th in New York, in USA during the World Forum of International Newsmedia Marketing Association, integrating Publisher and editors of newspapers from over 80 countries. The jury judged editorial, promotional and sales campaigns of newspapers from the whole world. Over 550 projects prepared by 143 newspapers competed in INMA Awards 2011.
