Responsible business


Agora Group has adopted a comprehensive approach to responsible business, understood as all activities that translate into the company's positive impact on its environment and eliminate non-financial risks to its operations. The company's responsible business principles are expressed in the policies, by-laws and codes as well as organizational culture, principles and values shared within the group.

Responsible management

Agora SA understands the importance of the corporate governance rules and their role in enhancing the transparency of public companies. It is therefore committed to observing them in day-to-day operations.

Responsible workplace

Employees form one of the key stakeholder groups. They represent important capital of Agora and their competences and experience are important factors in the execution of the company's strategy.

Social responsibility

Among the crucial elements which contribute to Agora's development are its social activities (charity, educational, civic) as well as sponsoring activities.

Environmental impact

Issues related to Agora's responsibility for the environment are centered around its activities. At the same time, the company initiates social actions and engages in numerous environmental projects.

Agora Foundation

Agora's Foundation supports selected social activities undertaken by Agora's media, including those undertaken by "Gazeta Wyborcza" and a large number of non-profit organizations helping sick and disabled children as well as those engaged in scholarship programs aiming at equalizing educational opportunities.

The first non-financial statement of Agora Group applies indicators based on the international standards in Global Reporting Initiative, (GRI G-4 and Sector Supplement - Media) for sustainability reporting. The statement is issued in compliance with Accounting Act, Directive 2013/34/UE of the European Parliament and Council of 22 October 2014 as regards the disclosure of non-financial and diversity information by certain large undertakings and groups from 2017.
