Metro
"Metro" is a nationwide daily distributed free of charge in the largest Polish cities." Metro's" average daily circulation amounts to 399 thousand copies. It is the third most daily read nationwide newspaper with daily readership of 3.4% (1.0 mln readers)*.

The press title "Metro" was registered in 1998. The first issues of "Metro" were attached to "Gazeta Wyborcza" and were aimed at the inhabitants of Warsaw districts. In October 2001, "Metro" transformed into an independent free-of-charge newspaper published twice a week in Warsaw with the circulation of 50 thousand copies. Since October 2003, "Metro" started appearing in Warsaw five days a week. Newspaper changed its pattern, editorial formula and logo, and, a year later increased its reach by nine cities and changed its profile from a regional newspaper to a large city newspaper. In 2005, further expansion of the newspaper took place and it appeared in new cities becoming a nationwide newspaper. Currently, "Metro" appears in the 18 biggest Polish cities: Bialystok, Bydgoszcz, Czestochowa, Katowice, Kielce, Krakow, Lublin, Lodz, Olsztyn, Opole, Poznan, Bielsko-Biala, Rzeszow, Torun, Trojmiasto, Szczecin, Wroclaw, Warszawa and Zielona Gora.

In August 2008, "Metro” redefined its editorial formula focusing especially on problems and needs of young people. The title pays a lot of attention on interaction with its readers and constantly develops its website. The internet service of the title is available at eMetro.pl . The title also launched an internet service with recruitment ads - Metropraca.pl and community service for animal lovers - CafeAnimal.pl .

"Metro" publishes also regular thematic supplements and cyclical special editions as, for example, recruitment edition "Recruitment and Education" and "Students' Metro" as well as special editions for specific target groups.

"Metro" is an extremely attractive partner for advertisers due to, inter alia, precise targeting and the most extensive distribution network in Poland. "Metro's" advertisers have the possibility of using dual media offer assuring simultaneous distribution of ads in a paper edition of the newspaper and in Internet. "Metro" offers also package offers, as for example: Metro-net.fm providing a financially attractive advertisement in "Metro", Agora's radio stations and Internet services. Additionally, "Metro's" advertising offer includes a non-standard advertisement forms tailored to the needs of a advertiser. In January 2009, in "Metro's" distribution department a new project called mTarget was launched. It comprises activities from the field of direct marketing, ambient media, custom publishing, mini events and packages of targeted distribution - mTargets.
