New joint offer of Agora and Microsoft for Internet users and advertisers

Agora SA and Microsoft Inc. signed an agreement, which provides for, among others, the development of common products and grants Agora exclusive rights to the sales of advertisement spaces in those products.

Agora shall run a common portal of both companies in Poland - Msn.gazeta.pl, and the sales team of Gazeta.pl shall have exclusive rights to sales and development of advertisement offer of all Polish Internet products of Microsoft.

Agora shall also be responsible for development and delivery of content to the jointly created portal MSN.gazeta.pl, which shall replace MSN.pl. that has been existing for a year. Technologies and products of Windows Live package shall be implemented in chosen services of Agora: communication tools (i.a. electronic mail, communicator) and information sharing tools (e.g. photos, blogs).

Within the framework of cooperation, Microsoft shall ensure redirection of users of MSN.pl portal to MSN.gazeta.pl website, and the promotion of common products and support in implementation of Live technology in Agora services.

- Thanks to cooperation with Microsoft, we want to offer internet users a new and interesting offer, and advertisers - an effective means of reaching a valuable target group with the use of modern tools and attractive advertising spaces. - comments Maciej Wicha, director for multimedia and partnership cooperation in Internet segment of Agora.

- The agreement concluded today is yet another stage of our cooperation. Users of both, Microsoft and Agora services shall benefit from it. We will be able to present an even wider and more interesting offer to users of the hitherto portal MSN, and also address this offer to a broader circle of internet users. Not less importantly, we shall gain the possibility of further distribution of our communication and community services platform, Windows Live - said Michal Kostrzewa from the Polish office of Microsoft.

MSN.pl portal, present on our market since 2008, was visited in March of the current year by 1 056 407 users (real users). Microsoft services occupy 18th place in the ranking of most popular websites in the Polish Internet.
