"Gazeta Stoleczna" awarded in the "Opened Eyes" competition

Warsaw edition of "Gazeta Wyborcza's" received a distinction from the jury of 2009 year edition of "Opened Eyes" journalist competition.

"Gazeta Stoleczna" was awarded for its articles promoting activity of disabled people, describing their problems and achievments. Many of these texts has been written by Wojciech Karpieszuk, the reporter of "Gazeta".

The distinction was presented to editor-in-chief of "Gazeta Stoleczna" - Seweryn Blumsztajn on December 2nd.

The contest "Opened Eyes" was organized by Philip Morris Polska SA and Friends of Integration Association. Its main purpose is promoting integration of the disabled with the society.
