"Testimony"

A story about the life of John Paul II through the eyes of Cardinal Stanisław Dziwisz, the Pope's long-time secretary and friend, was based on the book of the same title, published by Agora in 2007. The film was a cross - border production - shot nearly in the whole Europe, Michael York - remarkable actor - was entrusted with the role of the movie narrator whereas the music was created by Vangelis. The movie was seen by over one million people in the cinemas and it was also released on DVD and it will have its TV premiere soon.

"Poste restante"

A 14 - minute film by Marcel Łozinski presents the story of one out of milion letters - this one is written by a child and addressed to the God - which each year are sent to the Office of Undeliverable Letters in Koluszki. The film inspired Polish celebrities Ewa Blaszczyk, sister Malgorzata Chmielewska, Otylia Jedrzejczak, Stanisław Sojka, Muniek Staszczyk, Stanisław Obirk and Jarosław Lipszyc to write their own thoughts in the form of letters to the God. The thoughts together with the film on DVD were published in the form of book entitled "Mr. God. Heaven".



TV series

"The Team" is the first political fiction TV series and the first TV series directed by Agnieszka Holland. The successive episodes were first available on DVD in the series "The Library of Gazeta Wyborcza" and later were broadcast in TV. Agora released also the following collections: "The Sopranos" and "Friends", selling the books accompanied by the successive episodes on DVDs.
