Agora is a forerunner in the publishing of book collections offered by press publishers. The Company's first publishing project was a 40-volume collection of the 20th Century Literature released in 2004 as a part of the "Library of Gazeta Wyborcza". The strength and reputation of "Gazeta Wyborcza" and other Company's media enabled development of publishing projects, which at first accompanied other Company's publications, and with the course of time became an independent offer available in points of sales and newsstands throughout Poland. Till the end of 2009 Agora offered over 110 one-off publications and 43 collections, selling over 38 mln books and books with CDs and DVDs. Among the publications there are premiere albums and music collections, fiction and non-fiction literature, guidebooks, lexicons, encyclopedias and films and film series on DVDs. Agora is also involved in film production - the Company was a co-producer of the movie "Testimony", which after its international premiere in Vatican in October 2008, was viewed by over one million people. The Company participates in important cultural events - we co-organized the first concert of Woody Allen and his jazz band in Poland.
