The Waszefilmy.gazeta.pl website launched a test version of a movie service, which, thanks to its integration with a commercial broadcast system, are available for free. The service belongs to VOweb Poland, with Gazeta.pl acting as the strategic partner of the enterprise.
Gazeta.pl - the service strategic partner has been authorised to sell commercials broadcast during the movies, as well as advertising space in the service. The team of
Gazeta.pl will also support the service owner's further development of this product in Poland.
The movie distribution model employed at
Waszefilmy.gazeta.pl consists in legal, free-of-charge movie access, in return for watching the commercials included. The spots are broadcast during the movie, in commercial blocks, the length of which may not exceed 6 minutes per one hour of the film. There is no way to skip the commercials.
The movies offered by the service may be downloaded and then played without further Internet access. However, if the computer is connected to the Internet when the movie is played, the commercials will be updated. Should the computer remain in the offline mode, the previously uploaded commercials are broadcast. The service will keep on enlarging the number of available movies on a weekly basis.
