Awards and distinctions for Agora's titles in the GrandFront 2009 competition

"Gazeta Wyborcza", "Poradnik Domowy" and "Dziecko" were awarded in the Press Cover of the Year GrandFront 2009 competition organized by the Chamber of Press Publishers.

Front cover of "Gazeta Wyborcza's" issue informing about the death of Marek Edelman received the first prize in the nationwide newspapers category.

The front cover of "Poradnik Domowy" (July 2009 issue) received a third prize in the magazines for women category. Within the same category the November issue of "Dziecko" obtained a distinction. The jury of the GrandFront 2009 competition also honored "Gazeta Wyborcza" with the special award ArtFront, recognizing the title's artistic and editorial achievements - i.a. its special issue focused on the philosopher Leszek Kolakowski.
