Research and academic projects
Seminars „Revolution in communication” (RewolucjawKomunikacji.pl) has been organized since 2006 by Gazeta.pl and the foundation InternetPR. The main objective of the meetings is to popularize positive changes in social communication introduced by Internet. The project entails meetings dedicated to the most important trends, techniques and modern communication tools. The seminars attract numerous audience - specialist in marketing, PR, journalists and famous bloggers. Hitherto, the subjects discussed during the meetings related, inter alia, to blogosphere research, video content in Internet and direct marketing.

In 2009, the cycles of meetings under the name „Revolution in sports” and „Revolution in finance” (RewolucjawFinansach.pl) started. Agora's Internet service Sport.pl and advertising agency Ciszewski Marketing Sportowy are the organizers of the meetings dedicated to "Revolution in sports”. During the meetings the participants debate on issues relating to Euro 2012, sponsorship and using the sportsman's or the team's image in promotional activities. "Revolution in finance” is organized by Gazeta.pl in cooperation with the Internet service Bankier.pl and the foundation InternetPR. During the meetings specialists in finance discuss issues related to finance, economic awareness of Poles and the role of media, PR specialists and financial institutions in changing economic environment.

Portal Gazeta.pl is an organizer and participant of Internet research projects. In 2008 the research and analysis team of Gazeta.pl and Institute of Social Psychology of Internet and Communication (at The Warsaw School of Social Sciences and Humanities) realized a complex research project, which will allow to monitor the development of informative society in Poland. "Internet Diagnosis” is the largest online research of Polish Internet users. As a result of this research an indicator of personal digital potential was created, which together with the data on intensity of Internet exploitation complements the general picture depicted by other large research projects on Polish Internet. In the first quarter of 2009, a book entitled "Internet Diagnosis 2009” was published by Academic and Professional Publications (Wydawnictwa Naukowe i Profesjonalne). Gazeta.pl's research and analysis team runs extensive research on Polish blogosphere. In 2008, a special report " Motivation, behavior and views of authors and readers of blogs", comprising essential information on Polish blogosphere. The report from the research, executed together with the Gemius research company, is a source of essential information on Polish blogosphere; it comprises the characteristics of authors writing blogs and readers' motivation, as well as, social relations in blogosphere. The project is continued by Gazeta.pl in cooperation with Polish Internet Research (Polskie Badania Internetu).

Thanks to numerous partnerships and own research the Gazeta.pl's team of research and analysis provides a lot of valuable information on Polish Internet and its users.

Agora sees the need for society education in the field of changes taking place in the fastest developing medium. Therefore, the Company organizes many academic conferences on issues relating to Internet. In 2008, Gazeta.pl with the Department of Literary Theory and Poetics at Institute of Polish Literature at Warsaw University organized an academic conference entitled "Text (in) net” (TekstwSieci.blox.pl), which focused on influence of Internet on understanding and writing the text. As a result of the conference a two - volume book with conference speeches was published in 2009.
