Roxy FM
Roxy is the local network of radio stations broadcasting in Warsaw, Cracow, Silesian agglomeration, Poznan, Wroclaw, Opole and Bydgoszcz. Roxy is profiled as a cultural radio station focusing on broadly understood culture and offering various musical genres - from rock through chill out to new, alternative sounds. Radio addresses mainly young people (20-35 years old) from large cities - open, affluent and ambitious.
Roxy is a radio with temper, offering abstract content in a dynamic form. It focuses especially on broadly understood culture - the station wants to be involved in and support interesting local and national cultural events. Therefore, one can listen to interesting personalities and programs hosted by renown persons from the world of culture. In Roxy FM the programs are hosted, i.a., by Marcin Meller, Tomasz Kin, Vienio i Tomek Lipinski, Maria Peszek, Novika i Lexus, Krzysztof Grabaz Grabowski.
Broadcasting scheduling provides also the room for presentation by young artists their musical fascinations.
Roxy is the organizer of extraordinary events organized under the title "The smallest concerts in the Word by Roxy FM". The concerts are original promotional undertakings prepared for twenty viewers - selected from among radio's audience. The first concert of the series took place in May 2006 and it was starred by Myslovitz band. Other bands that participated also in this undertaking are Kult, T.Love, Reamonn, Homo Twist and Rasmus.
