Marek Sowa chosen the member of European Corporate Governance Forum

Agora's CEO was appointed the member of European Corporate Governance Forum. Forum was established in 2004 as the advisory to the European Commission, the executive branch of the European Union in Brussels. It's aim is to identify and to examine best practices in EU countries with a view to create a coherent, high standard corporate governance code for the member countries.

The Forum comprises fifteen senior experts from member countries whose experience and knowledge of corporate governance are widely recognized at European level.

Marek Sowa represents Poland in the Forum. He was recommended for the position by BUSINESSEUROPE and Polska Konfederacja Pracodawców Prywatnych Lewiatan (Polish Confederation of Private Employers Lewiatan, PKPP Lewiatan). Marek Sowa is a board member of PKPP Lewiatan and a chairman of Association of Private Employers in Media Sector. He is also a long-standing member of the Board of Polish Chamber of Electronic Communication and European Cable Communications Association in Brussels and a board member of American Chamber of Commerce in Poland.
