Agora awarded Grand Prix Corporate Governance title

Agora was again awarded with the Grand Prix Corporate Governance title during the third edition of the rating organized by the Chapter of Institutional Investors at the Polish Institute of Directors.

As in previous years, the rating was based on a survey carried among Polish fund managers. The objective of the survey was to evaluate effectiveness in the implementation of corporate governance rules in publicly traded companies. The fund managers evaluated companies by giving them maximum of five stars in four criteria: ownership structure; shareholder meetings and investor relations, financial transparency and access to the company's information, the role of the supervisory board.

The third edition of the rating involved fund managers representing almost 82% of the fund in the Polish capital market . In total, 65 public companies were assessed out of which 10 received Grand Prix Corporate Governance 2006 titles.
