Helios S.A. started its operations in 1993. Over the years the company grew to be the third largest cinema operator in Poland and created the network of 26 cinemas, which consists of 24 multiplexes and 2 traditional cinemas located in Polish cities, including Warszawa, Łodz, Gdansk and Wroclaw. In total cinemas included in the network of Helios and Kinoplex offer 140 screens and over 31 thousand seats.

Events and educational programs
Cinemas of Helios Group (Helios and Kinoplex) carry out educational programs for children and teenagers: "The Academy of Explorers” and "Helios for School”. The projects are designed to prepare young audience for the mature and competent consumption of arts and to encourage them to broaden their scientific interests.
Patronage and Pro-bono activities
Helios is involved in social campaigns and cultural events and initiates local pro-bono activities.
